bridge between a championship and an executive golf course,
offering several sets of tees to accommodate golfers of all
skill levels. The Homestead measures over 5,000 yards, a par 65
with an elevation change of over 200 feet on the course. The
links-style course features eight par 3's, nine par 4's and one
par 5.
The Homestead Golf Course was designed to
resemble a working cattle ranch, from the windmill to the cart
barn, rustic tee markers, pump house, and log fencing. The
Homestead Grill restaurant and a fully-stocked pro shop offer
first-class customer service. There is a complete practice
facility with a driving range, target greens, putting greens
and a practice sand trap.
The Homestead offers two
different types of terrain. The Mountain Nine course plays in
the bowl of Mt. Carbon, once a carbon mine from W.W.II. The
course is surrounded by spectacular vistas of Denver.
Throughout the course enjoy quiet streams and tranquil lakes.
Be sure to catch the 360 degree view from the tee box on the
#13 hole.
The Prairie Nine course offers gentle rolling

wildlife and pleasant views of the course can be seen from
elevated tee boxes.
The Homestead is designed to
accommodate golfers as well as recreational bikers on their way
to Bear Creek Lake Park.
